The last week of regular season has come and gone. Aqua was able to win one and lose one this week, finishing the regular season in a solid second place.
Ryan- Ryan was unable to attend this week. This week Ryan said he was too tired to even guard Lucido, so you know that it was probably a “smart” actuary like choice to stay home.
John Maly- Chops was unable to attend this week. Chops feeling slighted by last weeks write up decided to stay home and try to get fatter, hairier and worse at throwing so to be worth mentioning next time he shows up.
John Misra- Miz was unable to attend. Despite not being there Jim must have felt Miz’s presence explaining Jim’s crossfield hammer in traffic on universe point. Happy Birthday Miz, perhaps we will have some sort of birthday treat for you this coming week. (As long as Cody doesn’t eat them all)
Jon Taylor- Jon was also unable to attend this week. (Must be a Jon/John thing)
Tate- Was able to attend this week. Showing a little rust she had a few un-Tate like drops to start the games, by the end she had nice catches and continue throws. I’m sure she will be firing on all cylinders for play-offs.
Dan- Dan had some nice D’s out there this week. It almost seemed like he was trying to spike a volleyball at times.
Angela- Angela played some quality points for us, I’m sure she was relieved that the other girls decided to show up so she would not have to play every point.
Brady- Brady had some nice cuts and throws. I am starting to think he was fibbing when he said he would handle for us though.
Gerard- Gerard had a nice layout catch and a few nice deep cuts. I vaguely remember a few Brophy like turfs but two days later really only the layout and deep grabs stick out.
Becca- Jim convinced Becca to make one more showing. Unfortunately she will not be here for the playoffs. I wonder who Jim will throw to?
Jim- Next week is your chance. You are the new X-Factor.
Phillip- Phillip has said he will miss week 1 of the playoffs, which means we need to win our games next week so we can see Phillip do some flips in week 2.
Matt- Matt had a sweet sky catch for a score on a 50/50 by Gerard. As always he played well. My one complaint was the look off when I had more than a few steps on Mikey. I mean realistically how many chances will I ever have to score on Mikey, you have to put that up.
Josh- Josh played solidly. A little banged up from Iowa Games, I am sure some rest will put him in perfect shape to peak in playoffs.
Jeremy- Jeremy did a great job of getting open and generally made good decisions with the disk. While I love to give him a hard time with the backhanded compliment of he is faster than he looks, truthfully [spoil]he is about as fast as he looks.
